Professor Claude Francoeur holds the Stephen A. Jarislowsky Chair in Governance at HEC Montréal. His research interests include board gender diversity, corporate social responsibility, business ethics and financial reporting quality. His work has been published in journals such as Strategic Management JournalJournal of Business Ethics, British Journal of Management,, Business Strategy and the EnvironmentGender, Work and Organization, European Financial Management, Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences and International Journal of Managerial Finance. In 2012, he was awarded the prestigious Emerald’s Citation of Excellence Award for the article “Gender Diversity in Corporate Governance and Top Management,” published in the Journal of Business Ethics in 2008.
